Rising Dragon
A downloadable Esoteric Tatterpig
So, I recently had a surgery that has me unable to bear weight for a few months and I decided to use that time to try and release a new TTRPG each month while I can't work.
This is the first one. It's about people who get exponentially more powerful, and face tremendous odds and keep going. I hope you like it.
I know I certainly do.
Rising Dragon is a game about breaking limits. It uses a relatively simple, albeit crunchy dice pool system with WFRP-esque degrees of success. The big focus of the game is on advancing and growing in your abilities, and as such, there's effectively four different ways for a character to grow in scope and power over the course of a campaign.
Big shoutout to the people who skimmed through this for me to give me their feedback on the game, especially in the early stages of development. In particular I'd like to thank my mom, without whom I wouldn't have thought to add the partial glossary for those people looking to get into TTRPGs or introducing them to unexposed friends.
This game has not been playtested on account of the fact that there's nobody in my life willing to play TTRPGs with me. You are my labrats.
Also please don't consume this game if you're a fascist.
